I was driving up to an ATM machine the other day at the bank and something
made NO SENSE to me whatsoever.
In fact, it was a bit damn disturbing if you ask me.
Why are there Braille Keypads at a drive-thru ATM machine?
Braille is for the blind, right? I certainly understand the hearing impaired, but the blind?
It should be more alarming that the person ahead of me may have been that guy…
if it was him, I’ll be sure to stay off the sidewalks if I see him out driving around
The point is, I see marketers making the same dumbass mistakes in their squeeze
pages and funnels. They place items there that have no meaning at all or they’re
Anyone landing on your squeeze page should be only focused on the problems
and actions you want them to respond to.
Don’t have a squeeze page or lead magnet in the MMO (Make Money Online) niche
with some banging free report that also has an affiliate offer button or link to something
You have to grab their attention in the first shot.
Don’t send them down another path
Chances are, they got to your page because you drove some form of targeted traffic to
Keep the message on-point and deliver on your promise.
Create the problem
Help them associate with the problem or pain
Show them how YOU are going to help them solve it
Then DELIVER on the promise you made
So the next time you think about adding some shiny and unrelated object to your
squeeze page, resist the urge and save that one for another offer.
AND…if you happen to figure out the Braille Keypad thing….be sure to let me know!
Here’s a 5 page funnel system that works over and over, regardless of the niche
you’re working and it’s designed to keep everything on track and to the point.
